Business Development Manager – Institutional Sales (LATAM)

The team
Our Sales Institutions team is dedicated to forging strong connections with international governmental, non-governmental, and top-tier sports organizations. We prioritize establishing strategic alliances while simultaneously exploring untapped markets. This involves adeptly linking various organizations and experiences while harnessing Interprefy's proficiency in technology, technical aspects, security, procurement, and user needs and experiences. Our goal is to create cohesive networks that leverage our expertise to drive innovation and growth in these sectors. 
The Role- key responsibilities
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our Sales Institutions team. This role focuses primarily on qualifying and converting inbound leads from institutions such as NGOs, NPOs, governmental bodies, and public sector organisations. You’ll be responsible for building and growing strong client relationships, turning interest into partnerships, and supporting our mission to break down language barriers.

There will also be opportunities for strategic outbound engagement, particularly when identifying and targeting high-potential prospects.

  • Promote and sell Interprefy’s services to institutional clients across target markets.

  • Manage and convert inbound leads into closed deals.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Conduct tailored product demonstrations, clearly communicating our value proposition.

  • Work closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

  • Upsell and cross-sell to existing accounts by understanding evolving client needs.

  • Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to track leads, update records, and monitor sales activities.

  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to support lead qualification and research.

  • Share client feedback with internal teams to support continuous improvement.

Key experiences and competencies

Must-haves:

  • Fluent in English (C1+), both written and spoken.

  • Experience working with global or international organisations.

  • Proven ability to close high-value B2B deals, including with senior stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organised and self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Passion for technology, communication, and making a difference.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience selling into institutional or public sector clients.

  • Additional language skills.

  • Familiarity with SaaS, multilingual communication tools, or virtual event platforms.
